Before we work with refugees we need to train our educators

All our volunteers must attend an educator workshop before they participate

These educator workshops run a few times a year. Here our volunteer Health Professionals and Students will learn how to deliver the Healthy Start program

After participating in our educator workshops and later working with our Refugee clients our Health Professionals and Students are not only better at delivering the Healthy Start program but they also are motivated and prepared to work with culturally and linguistically diverse patients throughout their careers
